February meeting:
Wednesday, February 12, 2025 7:00pm.

Presenter: Rusty Johnson
“Lend Me Your Ears”
This is the second in a series of presentations on carving eyes, nose, mouth and ears. This is a hands- on demonstration so please bring a V-tool, carving knife, small gouge, pencil and glove. Wood will be furnished. We will follow a step-by-step process for carving an ear. The presentation will include basic structure, layman’s nomenclature and key things to remember about carving the ear. Again our ideal will be Michelangelo’s “David”. No guarantees that we will achieve that goal but we will try.
As usual the meeting will be at the St. Stephens Methodist Church, 400 N New Orleans, Broken Arrow.
